Denmark, 1960s
A rare, extra-long iteration of Grete Jalk's sculptural sofa for France & Son, this early sixties four-seater features sinuously contoured slats that create a spectacular line from behind. The flared armrests are upholstered, like the original sprung cushions, in a soft grey wool that contrasts with the warm teak frame. A scalloped back support holds the cushions in place.
