Acid-Etched Brass and Lacquer Dining Table

By Bernhard Rohne for Mastercraft

United States, 1970s
This elegant dining table, designed by Bernhard Rohne for Mastercraft, comprises beveled glass panels inset into a black lacquered wood frame on tapered brass legs. Rohne's signature acid-etched brass panels with iridescent designs add a decorative element. The table can be used with the two set glass panel-tops for a length of 71 inches or with an additional 33.5-inch glass leaf that blends seamlessly into the table and allows it to extend to 104.5 inches long.
