Lucite, Glass, and Chrome Center Table

By Vladimir Kagan

United States, 1970s
This fabulous design by Vladimir Kagan can serve as a small dining table or a center table. A thick circular tempered glass top rests on a base of two curved panels of Lucite joined at one end with large chrome pegs. Lucite spacers, 0.63 high x 2 inches in diameter, were added by the previous owner to raise the table's height. A modern, sexy, and timeless piece, the table's translucence is perfect for smaller urban spaces.
