Maple Planner Group Dining Table with Extensions

By Paul McCobb

United States, 1950s
Paul McCobb designed this midcentury dining table, model 1521, for Winchendon. The outer edges of the tabletop slide open to accommodate two 10-by-30-inch leaves that extend the table's width to 60 inches. The maple frame features the splayed, tapered legs typical of the Planner Group line.
