This console table is a 1950s interpretation of the altar tables traditionally found in Chinese reception halls. The gilt-painted wood frame features the typical everted flanges and scrolled legs; the table surface is gold-specked mirror. The height below is to the table surface. The flanges bring the total height to 30.25 inches.
