Designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller, this rare armchair, model 4774, features an open ebonized birch frame. Its strong rectangular lines contrast with the angled cushioning of the seat and back. The chair has been expertly refinished and newly reupholstered in Knoll's Ferry textile in "Highlands."
