Designed by Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1918 and produced under license by Cassina from the mid-1970s through the late 1990s, the geometrically rigorous DS3 armchair chair comprises black-stained ash frames with inset mother-of-pearl details and papercord seats. This pair are signed with a stamped manufacturer's mark and serial number.
