United States, 1950s
This pair of walnut dressers, modeled after the designs of George Nelson for Herman Miller, were produced by Highlands Woodcraft of Massachusetts. Each dresser has five drawers: three deep drawers, one of which is divided into four sections, and two shallower drawers, the topmost of which has six sections. Each case sits on aluminum hairpin legs and features striking round aluminum knobs with ebonized centers.
