Teak Gentleman's Dresser with Mirror

By Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

Denmark, 1950s
Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen designed this handsome gentleman's dresser for J. Jacobsen and Sonner; it was imported from Denmark by John Stuart, whose mark appears underneath. The teak case sits on plinth base and features exposed finger joinery and sculpted drawer pulls. There are three drawers. Above them, the top component pulls out and drops down to reveal three small drawers on either side of a flip-up mirror.
