Walnut Dania Sideboard with Hutch

By Merton Gershun for American of Martinsville

United States, 1950s
Merton Gershun designed this handsome walnut sideboard and hutch for Martinsville’s Dania collection. On the left of the sideboard, three deep louvered-front drawers create a seamless flow. On the right, two doors with brass pulls conceal three white lacquered drawers and additional shelving. The case sits on a raised brass-trimmed base. The walnut hutch has three shelves behind sliding glass doors and a narrow divided drawer with felted slots and a brass pull. The hutch measures 36" W x 12" D x 39" H. The sideboard measures 60" W x 18.5" D x 30.25" H.
