Walnut Gentlemen's Dresser

By Kipp Stewart & Stewart MacDougall for Drexel Declaration

United States, 1950s
Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall designed this gentlemen's dresser, model 801-430-2, as part of Drexel's popular Declaration collection. Three drawers sit atop tapered legs of solid walnut. In the upper cabinet two doors with push spring locks open onto three sliding shirt drawers, on the left, and a tray with built-in dividers and flip-up panel for a mirror, on the right, with more storage underneath. Their signature white porcelain pulls highlight the beauty of the oiled walnut. Maker's mark inside drawer.
