Cerused Oak and Mahogany Bar Cabinet by Louis Paolozzi for Rene Godfroid
Info
France, 1950s
Louis Paolozzi designed this bar cabinet for French manufacturer René Godfroid. The dynamic lines of its mahogany frame and contrasting cerused oak case create a striking example of Italian fifties design. The case features a perforated sliding door that conceals two glass shelves and a solid door that lifts up and locks in place to expose an adjustable glass shelf. The frame creates an additional shelf on top.
