USA, 1940’s
This writing desk by Paul Goldman is constructed of bent plywood, which gives it nicely rounded edges. Even the backs of the drawers are rounded to match the curve of the back of the desk. Designed circa 1945, this desk also comes with unique history – handwritten notes inside the top middle and right drawers document the previous owner’s family events. Made by Plymold Corp., Lawrence, MA between 1945 and 1947.
