[SOLD] Set of Six CAB 412 and 413 Dining Chairs by Mario Bellini for Cassina

Italy, 20th century

Set of two 413 Cab armchairs and four 412 Cab armless dining chairs.

The Cab Chair by Mario Bellini is widely recognized as one of the more significant chair designs of the twentieth century. A version of the Cab Chair is featured in the MOMA’s collection. The armchair’s flexible steel frame is completely enveloped in a saddle leather “skin” zipped at the legs, subtly detailed with exposed stitching along the seams. The sculptural quality of the leather creates an understated elegant form that is enticingly comfortable. Produced by Cassina. Leather color: Cuoio Rosso Cina.
